     Services for Mr. Adam S. Reljac, age 84 of Winnsboro, LA will be at 10:00 AM Monday, June 21, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Winnsboro with Father Dwight DeJesus officiating.  Interment will follow in Myrtle Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
     Mr. Reljac was born December 24, 1925 and passed away on June 18, 2010 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, LA.  He was preceded in death by his parents; Leopold and Frances Volff Reljac, brothers; Tony Reljac, Philip Reljac, Joe Reljac, and Frank Reljac, sister; Frances Reljac, and step-son; Alan Payne.
     Mr. Reljac was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where he served as an Altar Boy as a child.  He was a member of the Winnsboro Class of 1944 of which he was called to service prior to his graduation.  His niece received his diploma in his place.   He was a World War II Navy Veteran serving on the U.S.S. Washington.  After the war, he came home and began a career in the paper production industry in several places throughout the country, finally settling in Fort Smith, AR as plant manager with Manville Paper Company until his retirement in 1990.
     Survivors include:
Wife of 35 years:  Mary Tate Reljac of Winnsboro, LA.
Brother:  Leo J. Reljac of Morton Grove, IL.
Step-Daughter:  Linda Konert and husband Jim of St. Louis, MO.
Step-Grandchildren: Christee Evans and husband Matt of St. Louis, MO.
 Steven Konert, Pamela Konert,  Craig Payne and Cory Payne.
Step-Great Grandchildren:  Kyle and Hannah Walker and Blake Evans. 
11 Nieces and Nephews:
Mary Helen and husband Basil Smith Jr.,  Antoinette Dupree and husband Leon, Annie Comiskey and husband Bill, Mona Barbay and husband Curtis, Mary Lou Swanner and husband David, Joseph Kelly Reljac and wife Kathy,  Pattie Ann Ryan and husband Jim,  Mark Reljac and wife Melissa,  Leo J. Reljac, Jr., Pegie Price and husband Chris,  and Jeannie Karol and husband John.
Many Great Nieces and Nephews.
God Children:  Chelsea Tarver, Micah Paola,  Pegie Price, and Susan Nielson.
     Pallbearers are:  Joe Kelly Reljac, Mark Reljac,  Chip Reljac, Kelly Joe Reljac, David Swanner, Trey McNair, Mark Price,  and George Paola.
     Honorary Pallbearers are:  Members of the Class of 1944,  Basil “Smitty” Smith, Leon Dupree,  Bill Comiskey, and Curtis Barbay.
     Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church Library, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the charity of your choice.
     Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Sunday June 20th at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m.
