Graveside services for Mr. Adriel D. Wright, 82, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 30, 2009 at Ellisville Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi.
Mr. Wright died January 25, 2009 at Ridgecrest Nursing Home in West Monroe. He was a retired oil well driller and later was the custodian at St. Francis Xavier Elementary School for many years in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Wright is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Jarvis Wright; parents, Jewel and Dollie Wright; son, Roger Wright; brother, Alton Wright and wife Carolyn Spillers Wright; and sister, Opal Neighbors Dimitry.
Survivors include his children, Les Wright and wife Ann of Peori, AZ, Connie Sue Wright and Yevette Wright both of Shreveport, LA, Barbara Welsh and husband David of Cross Vine, TN, Jan Ray of MaGee, MS, and Stacie Wright of Oregon; brothers, Otto Wright and wife Jean, Truman Wright and wife Mary Lee, and Sonny Wright and wife Reba; sisters, Carolyn Davis, Eva Joyce Garrett, and Elaine Bergeron; twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00P.M. Thursday, January 29, 2008 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Vigil wake services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home with Fr. Frank Coens officiating.
Memorials may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Elementary School, 4715 North Central Avenue Phoenix, AZ 85012.
