Buck was born on November 22, 1941 in Natchez, MS and passed from this life on July 6, 2018 in West Monroe. He was one of the most patriotic persons, who loved his country. He loved his military career. He loved spending time with his family. He loved his wife unconditionally and his family. He served 11 1/2 years in the Air Force and Marine Corp for 9 ½ years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert D. and Edith Shows; son, James Houston; two brothers; and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carrie Jo Shows of Gilbert; son, Chuck Houston and wife Cindy of Clinton, AR; 3 daughters; Vicki Houston and husband Michael Hoggs of Monroe, Diana Shows of Atlanta, GA, and Kristine McDaniel and husband Sammy of Sicily Island; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
