Funeral Services for Mrs. Anna Jean Coston, 70 of West Monroe, LA will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 20, 2010 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Billy Taylor and Rev. George Bonner officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Coston was born on December 17, 1939 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on April 18, 2010 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Emmanuel Worship and Fellowship. Mrs. Coston retired from Golson Gas Company. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Mrs. Coston is preceded in death by her parents, Sam Lee Taylor, Sr. and Mamie Taylor; husband, William Ray Coston; and brother, Sam Lee Taylor, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Roger Hale, Tanya Williams and her husband Ken, Deborah Vance and her husband Brett; step-children, Sherry Solomon and her husband, Lee, Larry Ray Coston; grandchildren, Nikki, Kyle, Bailey, Darby, Sophia, Sarah, Jacob, Justin, Jarrod and Jonah; great-grandchildren; Dylan and Hailea; sisters, Udie Davis and her husband Mike, Johnnie Herrington and her husband Billy, Cheryl Hackworth and her husband Jimmy, Terri Anding and her husband Albo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Albo Anding, Jack Taylor, Keith Thompson, Randy Crenshaw, Danny Ziegler, George Ziegler, Sammy Sanford and Brett Vance.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, April 19, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
