Private family services for Mrs. Barbara Marie Blalock, 83, of Luna, LA will be held Saturday.
Mrs. Blalock was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Many people loved her throughout her life. Marie was a fighter. She survived both breast cancer and bone cancer. It was her wishes to be donated to science at her death for the further research for cures. She was a very strong woman.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Blalock; children, Tammy Steward, Randall Faulkenbery, and Rodney Faulkenbery; grandchildren, Angel Elliott and husband Walt, Bobby Steward, II and wife Tamala, Kevin Steward and wife Ashley, Eva Harrelson, Marie Gwaltney, Randy Faulkenbery, Pamela Hodges, Jessie Carlisle, and Josh Faulkenbery; and great grandchildren, Travis Elliott, Wyatt Elliot, Madisyn Elliott, C. J. Steward, Austin Gwaltney, Dustin Boyles, Haleigh Faulkenbery, Trinity Hodges, Ayden Carlisle, Lena Carlisle, Abbey Faulkenbery, Zackary Faulkenbery, and Montana Faulkenbery.
