Barbara Wallace Sugar

Memorial service for Ms. Barbara Wallace Sugar, 83 of Monroe, will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum with The Reverend Dawnell Stodgill officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home,
Monroe.

Ms. Sugar born in Bastrop, LA, on December 23, 1936, born to the union of Marlon Wallace and Lola Wallace and passed away on November 21, 2020, in West Monroe. Barbara attended St. Thomas Episcopal Church. She also had a great love for real-estate and fashion. Barbara loved to travel the world.

Survivors include her son, Marlon Leon “Marty” Sugar; brother, Gerald Wallace and wife Sharon; sister; Betty Hurst and husband Ralph, along with a host of numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to Cornerstone Hospital and their staff for the care given to Ms. Sugar.
