Mrs. Beatrice Copeland passed away, Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy M. Copeland; her daughter Billie Ruth Moore; brothers, James Sanford and Billy Paul Sanford; and sister, Dorothy Joiner.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Lynn and Dee Copeland, Bud and Mary Copeland, Royce and Phyllis Copeland, and Terry and Alece Copeland; ten grandchildren, Leslie Moore, Debbie Robinson, Stacey Copeland, Courtney Hutson, Kelly Paul, Alexa Clack, Chessa Anne Copeland, Will Copeland, Lindsey Cupples, and Katie Frances Copeland; ten great grandchildren; three sisters, Audrey Morgan, Myrtle Rushing, and Shirley Parker.
Pallbearers will be Ben Clack, Steven Paul, Jordan Cupples, Stacy Copeland, Will Copeland, and Ronnie Spencer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Rayville United Methodist Church with Rev. John Robert Black officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00AM until service time at the church. Interment will follow in Lynn Cemetery at Archibald under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff of Oak Wood Home for the Elderly in Mer Rouge, LA.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Oak Wood Home for the Elderly or the Rayville United Methodist Church.
