Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice Elouise Bass Cascio, 82, of Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 23, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Joe Puthuppally, Rev. C. S. Cascio, and Rev. Jimmy Masters officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Mrs. Cascio passed away Sunday, July 18, 2009. She was retired from Olinkraft after twenty-five years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic (Nick) Cascio; her parents, Walter and Elouise Bass; two grandsons, Stacy and Clint Cascio.
Survivors include her sons Jerry Wayne Cascio of West Monroe, LA, A. W. Cascio of Spearsville, LA, and Dominic Jr. Cascio of West Monroe, LA; daughter, Brenda Cascio Elmendorf of Monroe, LA; six grandchildren, Jeff Cascio, Kim Atchinson, Krystle Cascio, Tracy Ketchens, Toby Cascio, and Corey Cascio; nine great grandchildren; special friend who was like a daughter, Rosie Cascio.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Cascio, Bobby Thompson, Tucker Thompson, Garland Hendrix III, Roger Baker, and David Johnson.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
