Bobbie Jean Hogan

Funeral services for Bobbie Jean Hogan, 76, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Sterlington with Rev. J.E. Brown and Rev. Ben Hackler officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.Mrs. Hogan died October 11, 2014, at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sterlington and served there as a member of Women on Mission. She loved gardening and traveling. Mrs. Hogan will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother.Mrs. Hogan was preceded in death by her parents, R.M. Butler and Bonnie Fairchild Butler; and three brothers, Robert, Larry and Prentiss Butler.Survivors include husband, Marvin Hogan; daughters, Peggy Creel and husband Shelby, Penny Bennett and husband Bruce; son, Paul Hogan and wife Lisa; granddaughter, Jessica LaPrade; grandson, Tyler Creel; grandson-in-law, Ross LaPrade; great-grandson, Greyson LaPrade; three brothers and two sisters; as well as a host of extended family and friends.Pallbearers will be Nicholas Butler, Dinnon Butler, Jeremy Butler, Kevin Sandifer, James Sandifer, and Mike LeCroiux.Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, October 13, 2014 at the church.Memorials may be made to the Women on Mission at the First Baptist Church of Sterlington.Online Registry/Condolences: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.comMulhearn Funeral HomeSterlington RoadMonroe, LA
