A Celebration of the Life of Bobby J. Fuller, 78, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, August 25, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Dr. Jim Wolfe, Pastor of Ridge Avenue Baptist Church, and Bro. Calton Yeager, will provide the eulogy. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum.Bobby J. Fuller went to be with his heavenly father on August 22, 2016 after a lengthy battle with dementia. Bobby was born on July 30, 1938, in Downsville, LA to Harvey Fuller and Rowena Hicks Fuller. He graduated from Spearsville High School in 1957 and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northeast Louisiana State College. He retired from Manville after 24 years and began a new career with Marvin King Supply as purchasing manager. A position he held for 15 years.He was active in his profession serving in many capacities with the Lou-Ark affiliate of the National Association of Purchasing Management. Bobby served as a deacon in Ridge Avenue Baptist Church, where he was a member for some 40 years. He earned the designation of a 32nd degree mason as a member of the Cadeville Lodge #229 F.&A.M.Bobby loved the outdoors especially the time spent on Lake Darbonne teaching his girls how to ski and watching them develop their talent. He was an avid hunter with a tradition each year to be in the woods on the first day of squirrel season as long as his health would allow. His camp on the lake provided many hours of enjoyment fishing, pulling skiers, or just relaxing on the porch. His hobby was car trading or actually closing the deal. He spent many a day researching cars listed in the paper and then following up to make a deal.His survivors include his wife of 54 years, JoAnn Odom Fuller; daughters, Angie Fuller, and Sherri Lynn Fuller Shannon and husband, Randy; grandchildren, Shelly Hudson and Jacob Roy Riley and wife, Laura; great grandson, Jameson Jett Hudson; brother, Bruce Fuller and wife, Evelyn; sisters-in-law, Jennie Odom of Baton Rouge, LA, and Sharon Albritton of Shreveport, LA; and many nieces and nephews.The family will receive visitors Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Serving as Pallbearers will be John Albritton, Jake Riley, Harold Riley, Randy Shannon, Fred Hall, and Mike Colvin.The family would like to give a special thanks to Aime Hospice; Crystal, Rhonda, Amanda, and Latesha along with Bro.
