Brenda Kay Smith Brown

Brenda Kay Smith Brown was born March 5, 1951 in Oakdale, LA. and passed from this earth on February 3, 2021 at St. Joseph Nursing Home.
Brenda met her future husband, Jerry, while both were attending Northwestern Louisiana State College in Natchitoches, Louisiana. This August 14th, they would have been married for 50 wonderful years.
They have 3 children: Matthew, Melissa, and Stephen. She is also survived by a brother, Paul Smith, sisters, Carlene Fisk, and Ellen Moss. Brenda was blessed with 3 grandchildren, each of whom she loved dearly: Stephen Tyler Brown, Annie Brown, and Julia Brown.
Even though she endured a great deal of pain and discomfort during the last 3 years, it is of great comfort to know she is at peace and enjoying the love and comfort of her Lord.
Brenda was a very strong Christian and was bless with many wonderful and loving friends.
Pallbearers will be Dan Madden, Luke Madden, Ken Green, Matt Stephens, Gerald Sims, and Larry Blackman
A visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 6, 2021 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home on highway 165, Monroe, Louisiana, with Reverend Warren Eckhardt officiating.
