Funeral Services for Carolyn Elizabeth Barnes, 76, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, August 27, 2016 at McClendon Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Bro. Kevin Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Calhoun under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Barnes was born on July 18, 1940 in Holly Ridge, LA and passed away on August 23, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Charlie Flowers; and brother-in-law, Percy Powell.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Barnes; daughter, Kathy Barnes Ainge and husband Craig; son, Randy Barnes and wife Patty; daughter, Renee Michael; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Myrtle Allen and husband Jerry, Martha Powell, and Bettye Harper and husband Alton.
Pallbearers will be Mike Allen, Jonas Michael, Steve Powell, Randall Barnett, Scott Harper and Rick Snell.
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Friday, August 26, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
