Mr. Sturgis passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 in West Monroe, LA. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Point, LA.
He is survived by his sons, Clay Sturgis and his wife Mary, Tommy Sturgis and his wife Jeannie; grandchildren, Sam Sturgis, Andrew Sturgis, Stephen Sturgis, and James Sturgis; brothers, Billy Sturgis, Cecil Sturgis, and Jack Sturgis.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
