Cecil Leon Viola

Memorial Services for Mr. Cecil Leon Viola, 85, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 22, 2020, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Eddie Fuller officiating.

Cecil Leon Viola was born February 8, 1935 and passed away December 18, 2020. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and he loved watching Fox News. Mr. Viola loved animals, and he was a hard worker. A good work ethic and good mannerism was very important to him and he would not put up with laziness. He loved to make people laugh and he was a great father and husband and was a loving “Pops” to his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemens and Effie Viola; sisters, Nettie Ditta; and brother, Warren Viola.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Viola; daughters, Daphne Cantu, and Vicki Denman; grandchildren, Victoria Webb (Brent), Logan Cantu (Erin), Clifton Slade, Clayton Slade, Holli Denman, and Gunnar Denman; great grandchildren, Ellie Webb, Bella Webb, and Barrett Cantu; brother, Leroy Viola; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
