Mrs. Taylor was born June 20, 1931 in Winnsboro, LA and passed from this life on October 31, 2020 in Winnsboro, LA at the age of 89. Above all else, she loved her Lord and savior and her family. She adored spending time with family and friends, and was a dedicated member of the Auxiliary “Pink Lady” organization at Franklin Parish Hospital, a member of the Red Hat Society, a volunteer at Good Samaritan, and always considered crocheting as one of her favorite hobbies. When Mrs. Taylor wasn’t volunteering, giving of her time to organizations, and crocheting, she enjoyed spending time in her garden, regularly expressing her joy for children and honorably living up to her title as the “Queen of Pies.” She loved Christmas, the gift of giving, was an incredible mother, grandmother, and aunt, and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Malcolm Taylor; one brother, Hewlett Isaac Choate; two sisters, Evelyn Yvonne Reeves and Joann Courtney.

Survivors include her children, Malcolm “Mack” Taylor and wife, Paula, McKinney, TX, Deborah Kathleen Hansen and husband, Maurice, Sr. of Rocky Branch, and Keith Allen Taylor and wife, Dawn, of Winnsboro; eight grandchildren, Tim Taylor and wife, Leslie, William Taylor and wife, Amy, Angela Wilson and Trey Snell, Jessica Albritton, Maria Hansen, Melanie Jones and husband, Robert, Maurice “Meaux” Hansen, Jr., and Anna Taylor; twelve great-grandchildren, Hannah, Haily, Izabella, Chloe, Macy, Taylor, Davis, Stella, Owen, Nina, Christian, and Isaac; one great great-grandchild, Tripp; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
