Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Debbie Jones, 65, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 10, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Werner Aswell officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.

Debbie was born on December 12, 1956, in Warren, AR and passed away on April 7, 2022, in Monroe, LA. She retired from Ouachita Parish School Board after 30+ years. She enjoyed spending time with family, working in her flower beds and attending the many activities that her grandkids were doing. Debbie’s grandkids were the light of her life, she loved them with her whole heart. She also treasured the many laughs and time she spent with her special group of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bettye Measel of Warren, AR; sister, Nenda Burchfield; and brother-in-law, James Burchfield.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Steve Jones; children, Jennifer Wheelis (Lee), Sandy Massey (Daniel), Scott Jones (Molly), and Jared Jones; grandchildren, Connor Wheelis, Luke Wheelis, Caden Cribbs, Jason Massey, Madilynn Massey, Alex Massey, Landry Jones, Fisher Jones, Carsyn Jones, and Julianna Jones; brother, Kent Measel (Nancy); nephew, Bart Measel; and numerous cousins.

Pallbearers will be Lee Wheelis, Daniel Massey, Luke Lensing, Jerry Lockwood, PJ Turpin, and Greg Cole.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ken Desoto and Donnie Dampier.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Sunday.
