Graveside services for Deborah Dianne Woods Beach, 61, of Monroe, will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, November 2, 2009, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Ken Renfroe officiating.
Mrs. Beach, a retired AT&T supervisor, passed away Friday, October 30, 2009. She was a member of The Telephone Pioneers of America and First Baptist Church of Swartz.
Mrs. Beach was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Chleo Woods; and brother, Gerald Woods.
Survivors include her husband, William Benton “Sonny” Beach; daughter, Carrie Dianne Varner; son, William B. “Buddy” Beach, Jr.; granddaughter, Taylor Varner; grandson, Jacob Varner; step granddaughters, Chelsea and Lillie McLain; brothers, William Antony Woods and wife Deborah, and Donald Woods and wife Alice; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Clyde Elliott and staff, Willis Knighton Hospital and staff, M. D. Anderson and staff, and Susie Thornhill and Gail Palm of Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care for the care given to Mrs. Beach.
