Delton L. Bordelon, Jr. Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Delton L. Bordelon, Jr., 70, formerly of Ferriday, Louisiana and a resident of Monroe, LA , will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 25, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, with Rev. Tracy Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe.
Mr. Bordelon was born August 23, 1950 and passed away on February 19, 2021. He served his country in the United States Air Force. After giving his heart to Christ, he served his savior for many years. After the passing of his first wife, Iris Jean, he was remarried to Susan Jo. In his lifetime, he was thankful to have been married to two wonderful Christian women. He was a member of Sterlington Holiness Tabernacle Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Delton and Daisy Bordelon; brother, Timmy Bordelon; Wife, Iris Bordelon; and daughter, Shannon Day.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Bordelon; sisters, Betty Lee, Sandy Cannon and Dana Griffin; daughters, Angela with husband Junior Skipper, Penny Toney, Jennifer with husband John Slaughter, Victoria with husband Aaron Hough; bonus daughter Nichole with husband Cody Smith; bonus son Ken Rogers; brother, Bobby Bordelon and wife Terri. Mr. Bordelon is also survived by grandchildren Brent Day, Sarah Berkley, Tyler Skipper, Heather Uehling, Michael Toney, Joshua Toney, Anna Slaughter, Kayla Slaughter, Kelsey Slaughter, Micah Hough, Moriah Hough, Malachi Hough, Matthew Hough, Thatcher Smith, and Edith Smith; great grandchildren Ezekiel Massey, Norah Berkley, Sky Lynne Hurst, Jaxton Hurst, Cas Hall, Calli Hall and one more great grandchild on the way; along with many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00PM until 2:00PM Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
