Funeral service for Ms. Donna Renee Thompson, 49, of Ferriday, LA, will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the Pentecostals of the Miss Lou, 7280 Hwy 84 West, Ferriday, LA, with Rev. Jeremy Howington officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez, MS, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 9:00PM Friday, April 30, 2021, at the Pentecostals of the Miss Lou, 7280 Hwy 84 West, Ferriday, LA.
Renee’ was born in Natchez, MS, on April 12, 1972, and passed away on April 25, 2021, in Ferriday, LA. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Tullos of Mer Rouge, LA; paternal grandparents, John H. and Bobbie J. Thompson of Natchez, MS; maternal grandparents, Lawrence M.N. and Christine
Ray of Vidalia, LA; step grandmother, Mary “Pat” Martha Turner of Vinegar Bend, AL; step grandparents, Earl Banks Tullos and Juanita Thelma Tullos of Ferriday, LA; and numerous other family members.
Survivors include her two sons, Joshua Chapman and Caleb Chapman both of Monterey, LA; daughter, Merrideth Chapman of Natchez, MS; mother, Pat Tullos of Ferriday, LA; father and stepmother, Herbert and Gina Thompson of Vinegar Bend, AL; step grandfather, Noel Turner of Vinegar Bend, AL; sister, Kimberly Mann and husband Jason of Ferriday, LA sister, Brittany Odom and husband Joseph of Deer Park, AL; sister, Elizabeth DeForrest and husband Cameron of Vinegar Bend, AL; brother, James Tullos and wife Adelia of Bossier, LA; best friend, Suzanne Price and husband Brandon and their children, Hayden and Claire of Natchez, MS; nephews and nieces, Trevor Mann and wife Violet, Karly Mann, Abby Odom, Jase Odom, Madison DeForrest, Mackenzie DeForrest, Bentlee DeForrest, Avery Tullos, Maddox Tullos, Emily Murphy, and Abby Murphy.
Pallbearers will be Yankie Lee Duncan, Hunter Randall, James Tullos, Cliff Randall, Donny Chapman, Cole Taylor, Troy Eliser, and Paul Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be Clifton and Barry Chapman and Ralph Raymond.
