Private family services for Mrs. Doris Blythe Andrews Menefee, 100, of Monroe, will be held Friday, May 1, 2009, at Grace Episcopal Church with Rev. Gregg Riley officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mrs. Menefee passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. M. “Pete” Menefee; son, Jerry Leonard Menefee; and granddaughter, Kristi Ann Cook.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Menefee Cook and husband James; grandsons, Jamie Cook, Mike Cook and wife Sherry; granddaughter, Jena Brubaker; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
