Douglas "Doug" A. Leporati

Douglas “Doug” A. Leporati was born December 10, 1948 and passed away July 18, 2022, at the age of 73.
Doug served four years in the United States Air Force, seeing action in Pleiku, Vietnam, where he received a Medal of Commendation. He also had a 20+ year long career in technology at St. Francis Medical Center, where he was dedicated to serving others and was always a positive and friendly team member inspiring others daily. Doug put his faith in Jesus and is now experiencing the joy and wonders of Heaven.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Leporati and Sara Leporati.
Survivors include his children, Yvonne Lynn Knox and husband Rusty, Josh Leporati and wife Miranda, and Joseph Leporati and wife Sadie; grandchildren, Grayson Knox, Philip Knox, Eli Leporati, Sarah Leporati, and Sawyer Leporati; siblings, Sue LaBorde and Louis “Bo” Leporati; and his special friend and devoted caregiver, Rosanne Kennedy.
Private services will be held. Burial will be in Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
