Elizabeth (Beth) TidwellFuneral services for Elizabeth (Beth) Tidwell, 49, of Monroe will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Mark Finn officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Rd. Mrs. Tidwell died Sunday, Nov. 16, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Survivors include her husband, Rod Tidwell; mother Susan Davis; stepchildren Abigail Tidwell, Camille Tidwell and Rodney Tidwell; stepbrothers Douglas Davis and Thomas Davis and stepsister Anita Roundy and their families and cousins Sandra McKay, Debbie Booth and Robin Bradshaw. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Tidwell, David White, Chad Matheny and Frank Magoo. Mrs. Tidwell was born in Orange, Texas, on May 25, 1965, and moved to Louisiana when she was a teenager. She graduated from Ouachita Parish High School in 1983. Mrs. Tidwell worked in mortgage registrations for 17 years and was an Associate Vice President for AMC Mortgage in Monroe. She loved all animals but especially her dog, Bella, her cat, Gracie and her bird, Tiger. She was an avid sports fan, especially of the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos. She also loved watching The Masters, particularly Phil Mickelson, as well as the Boston Red Sox. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Childrens Home in Monroe.
