Funeral Services for Mr. Elmer Lee McManus, 75, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 28, 2009 at Greater Apostolic Church in Chatham, LA with Rev. Tommy McMurray and Rev. Doyle McManus officiating. Interment will follow at Greater Apostolic Church Cemetery, Chatham, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. McManus was born December 13, 1934 in Jackson Parish and passed away December 25, 2009. He was a member of the New Life Apostolic Church. Mr. McManus is preceded in death by his parents Larkin and Dorothy McManus; Son, Micheal Eugene McManus; mother and father in-law, Wilson and Bea Frith.
Survivors include his wife of fifty two years, JoAnne McManus ; sons, Ronnie McManus and wife Debbie, Brian McManus and wife Amanda, Jason McManus and wife Kim; daughter, Sandra McLain and husband Howard; Daughter in-law, Carol Sue McManus; sisters, Carolyn McDaniel, Marilyn Tidwell, Glenda Taylor, Haughton, LA; brother, Donnie McManus, West Monroe, LA, nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Williamson, Larkin Tidwell, Randy McManus, Howard McLain Jr., Kevin McLain and Tim McMurray. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Keith White.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Keith White, Phillip Miller and staff and Dr. Eppinette for their care of Mr. McManus.
Memorials may be made to the New Life Apostolic Church in West Monroe.
