Ervin Ray Garner

Private Family Services for Mr. Ervin Ray Garner, 88, of Newellton, LA, will be held at a later date at Legion Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Winnsboro.

Mr. Garner was born June 19, 1932 to the union of John Thomas Garner and Margie M. Garner. He was employed with Franklin Plantation for over 33 years until his retirement in 1996.

Mr. Garner is preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mary Helen Gossett Garner; two children, James Ray Garner, and Angela Bartleson; three grandchildren, Jamie, Josh and Hillary; four great-grandchildren, Katie, Kadence, Wyatt and Brynnan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
