Ethel Huckabay RalstonFuneral Services for Mrs. Ethel Huckabay Ralston, 85, of Sterlington, LA will be held at 2:30 P.M., Sunday, February 22, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Sterlington, LA with Rev. Ben Hackler and Rev. J.E. Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mrs. Ethel was born December 27, 1929 in Madison Parish, LA and passed away February 20, 2015 in Monroe, LA. She resided in Sterlington and was a member of First Baptist Church in Sterlington. Mrs. Ethel was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Huckabay; her second husband, Raymond “Papa Turk” Ralston; and daughter, Barbara DeLane Seffens.Survivors include her children, Linda Fay Kennedy, Betty Sue Wolf, Roger Dale Huckabay and wife Gwennie, Janet Leigh Huckabay, and David Randal Huckabay; son-in-law, Jerry Seffens; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Sunday at the church. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Sterlington or to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
