Funeral service for Mrs. Eva Bennett Hoffman, age 90, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, September 21, 2007, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Reverend Randy Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Twin Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hoffman was born February 12, 1917, and passed away September 19, 2007, at St. Francis Medical Center.

Mrs. Hoffman was a faithful employee of Fields Clothing Store for twenty-nine years. She was an accomplished seamstress, and enjoyed the art of quilting. She loved attending sporting events, and was a trophy bass fisherman. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Monroe, and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Mrs. Hoffman is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann Buie and husband Charles of Fort Necessity, LA; granddaughter, Allison Ann Killingsworth and husband Gary of Winnsboro, LA; two grandsons, Mark Hoffman Liles of Winnsboro, LA; and Dr. A.C. Liles, III and wife Carol Ann of Covington, LA; three great grandchildren, Mark Hoffman Liles, Jr., Michael Allen Liles, and Mason Copeland Liles all of Winnsboro, LA; and one sister, Billie Jean Bennett of West Monroe.
She is preceded in death by her beloved late husband, Raymond W. Hoffman, and parents, Vallie Bennett and Nobie Estel Bennett, and sisters and brothers, Mae Murray, Felix Bennett, Preston Bennett, Howard Bennett, and Christine Hubbard.
Pallbearers will be Mark Hoffman Liles, Jr., Michael Allen Liles, Mason Copeland Liles, Gary Killingsworth, Terry Brown, Mark Leath, Dale Murray, and Andrew Murray.

Honorary pallbearer will be James Bagwell, Don Noblett, and Tony Tuminello.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, September 20, 2007.
