Funeral Services for Mr. Everett Eugene Willis, 56, of Crawfordville, FL, formerly of West Monroe, LA, will be 10:00 AM Monday, November 3, 2008, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Johnny Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe.
Mr. Willis passed away on October 30, 2008 in West Monroe, LA. He owned and operated Willis Concrete Works. He was a member of River of Life Church in Crawfordville, FL. He was a mountain of a man. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Willis; and brother, Doug Willis.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Willis, mother, Myrtle Willis; eight children, Joe Willis and wife Ericka, Mary Meredith and husband Kevin, Jenny Wallace and husband Jake, Sunshine Blombergh and husband Stan, Reign Blombergh and wife Courtney, Free Blombergh and wife Myka, Sabrina Call, Katrina Runyon; twelve grandchildren, Caden Willis, Mason Willis, BreAnn Nolan, Kristin Meredith, Sean Godbolt, Chardana Call, Tyler Blombergh, Stanley Kazwell, Jude Kazwell, Omini Kazwell, Skylar Blombergh, Free Blombergh; brothers, Mark Willis and Bert Willis and wife Lynn; sisters, Janis Gray and husband Ron, Carrie Frith and husband Dennis and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be James McDaniel, Jamey McDaniel, Donny Furlow, John David Ramsey, Dennis Frith, and Damon Willis.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Donations may be made to Mulhearn Funeral Home in care of the Eugene Willis funeral fund.
