Frances J. Wallace

Funeral Services for Mrs. Frances J. Wallace, 72, of West Monroe, LA, will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 1, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Debra St. Romaine officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, August 31, 2018, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Mrs. Wallace was born on May 14, 1946 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 27, 2018. She was an active member of Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro, where she sang in the choir. Mrs. Wallace was a retired teacher with the Franklin Parish School System, where she taught 3rd grade at Ward III High School.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cullen and Lillian Finley Loflin; sisters, Betty Ethridge, Melba Aston, and Shirley Moak.

Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth June Wallace Powell and Lillian Charlotte McKenzie (Ricky); three grandsons, Tyler McKenzie, Austin McKenzie, and Evan McKenzie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Rick McKenzie, Austin McKenzie, John Wallace, Michael O’Quinn, Robert Crawley, and Mark Crawley.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Samer Roy, Dr. Rese Jumah, Dr. Ronald Keopke and Dr. Khawar Khurshid, and to Hospice Compassus.
