Glen Roy "Robbie" Robison

Private Family Graveside Services for Glen Roy “Robbie” Robison, 74, of West Monroe, LA, will be held with Rev. Kevin Stewart officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA. Because of current health related challenges for all, the service will not be open to the public. The family is planning a public “dinner on the grounds” in 2021 in order to fellowship and share stories about this man we love.

Glen Roy Robison was born November 22, 1946, in Amarillo, TX and passed away December 17, 2020, in West Monroe, LA. He was known as “Bro. Robbie” to most people in the West Monroe area. He served as a lay leader in McClendon Baptist Church for many years, and then as a Minister in several churches in the West Monroe and Winnsboro areas. He was a youth leader, Sunday school teacher, deacon, pastor, preacher, and friend to many people during his life. Bro. Robbie loved Jesus, his family, friends old and new, old cars, outdoors, gospel music, and telling and listening to stories.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Vera Robison; wife, Johnnie Bedgood Robison; daughter, Leigh-Anne Robison; and brothers, Homer Edward “Eddie” Robison, and Robert “Bobby” Robison.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Henry Robison; daughter, Denise Green and husband Greg; son, Eddie Robison and wife Kimberly; daughter, Amy Henry Brantley and husband Nathan; grandchildren, Gregory, Bradley, Nicholas, Olivia, Rachel, Abbie, Emma, Annelise, and Ethan; “adopted” son, Jamie Robison and wife Sheila; brother, Wallace Robison; sister-in-law, Therica Robison; and many other dear relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made in Robbie’s name to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering at McClendon Baptist Church or other local Southern Baptist Churches.
