Hazel Barnett HairMulhearn Funeral HomeWest Monroe, LA Funeral Services for Mrs. Hazel Barnett Hair, 83, of West Monroe, will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 15, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Danny McIlveene and Clint Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe. Mrs. Hair was born March 14, 1931 and passed away December 9, 2014. She was member of Community Baptist Church in West Monroe. Hazel was a retired admitting clerk from the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Geneva Barnett; husband, Malkum Hair; brother, Willie Barnett; sisters, Mary Oliveaux, Katherine Warren and Bobbye Verbois. Survivors include her daughter, Opal Hair Johnson and husband, Jr; sons, Richard Hair and wife, Pat, and Lane Hair; grandchildren, Brian Hair, Rick Hair, Heather Hair Blackwell and Amanda Hair Guice; great grandchildren, Jordan, Kaitlynn and Brooklynn; sister, LeaLea Clark; sisters-in-law, Frances Hill and Edith Hair; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be William Hill, Chester Hill, Wetzel Hill, Henry Hanson, Joe Stidams and Jim Childers.Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M., Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
