Funeral Services for Mrs. Hazel Compton Whitaker Lively, 69, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 29, 2010 at the Living Way Apostolic Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Carl Shurte and Rev. Nathan Thornton officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Lively was born on January 9, 1940 and passed away on January 26, 2010. She was a loving and devoted mother and mamaw who gave unconditionally to her family. Mrs. Lively is preceded in death by her birth father, Laver Compton and mother, Gladys Tokie Falletta.
Survivors include her children, Danny Whitaker, Julie Mulhearn and husband Jack and Terrie Whitaker Debnam; father, Joe Falletta; grandchildren, Scott Whitaker and wife Jessica, Neville Whitaker, Anita Randall and husband Jason, Rebecca Takewell, Lisa Beordelon and husband Brad, Jack C. Mulhearn, Matthew Brady and Amanda Brady; four great grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Rick Compton and wife Sara; her first husband and the father of her children, James Whitaker and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Scott Whitaker, Justin Whitaker, Brad Beordelon, Jason Randall, Joe Neitz, and Richard Washington.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Living Way Apostolic Church.
