Services for Mrs. Hettie Lee Thompson Dampier, age 85 of Wisner, LA will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Wisner, LA with Rev. Thomas Peoples officiating. Burial will follow in Oakley Cemetery near Gilbert, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Dampier was a life-long member ( 60+ years ) of the First Baptist Church in Wisner, LA, a Sunday School Teacher and loved to take care of her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Dampier and by one sister and four brothers.
Survivors include:
Children: Phillip Dampier and wife Martha, Jerry Dampier and wife JoAnn, Lulu Johnson and husband Russell, Donnie Dampier and wife Judy.
Grandchildren: Carol Hunter, Kim Chelette, Donna Jones, Glen Dampier, Katie Chabert, Mack Dampier, and Max Johnson.
7 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Glen Dampier, Mack Dampier, Max Johnson, Daniel Hunter, Hogan Hunter, and Jim Grant.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 1st at First Baptist Church in Wisner, LA.
