Funeral Services for Huey P. Martin, 86, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 9:00AM Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Bro. Billy Taylor officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Calhoun.Mr. Martin was born on May 22, 1930 in Eros, LA and passed away on July 30, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. He proudly served in the United States Air Force with Air Man PFC Rank during the Korean War. He was a member of the Westlakes Seventh-day Adventist Church. Mr. Martin was also a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 419. Mr. Martin is preceded in death by his infant son, Michael P. Martin; parents, John T. Martin and Mary Maggie Simmons; brother, Doyle B. Martin, C.M. Martin, Douglas Martin, and Conny G. Martin.Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth Martin; sons, Thomas R. Martin and wife Donnelda, David L. Martin and wife Sara; granddaughter, Michelle Martin Guillory; grandson, Michael D. Martin; 3 great-grandchildren, Cade, Tripp, and Presley; and 10 nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Nick Martin, Darrell Martin, Mason Martin, Stevie Baker, Cade Guillory, Tripp Guillory, Michael Martin, and Orie Hatten, Jr.Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Monday, August 1, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
