Funeral service for Mr. James D. “Don” Gipson, 74, of Jonesboro, LA, will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2007, in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Pearl River, LA, with Rev. Tom Long officiating. Interment will follow in Audubon Cemetery.
Mr. Gipson passed away on May 25, 2007, at the Jackson Parish Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minneola C. Gipson and parents, Lovie and Opal Gipson.
Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Gipson Coleman and husband Charlie of West Monroe, LA; step daughter, Beverly Spiers and husband J.C.; step son, Raymond Bennett all of Pearl River, LA; grandchildren, PFC John Silkwood, Megan Coleman, and Zachary Coleman all of West Monroe; and dear companion and special friend, Eula Jones of Jonesboro, LA.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Wednesday for the family and from 2:00 PM until Service Time Wednesday for the friends and guests.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Coleman, John Silkwood, Raymond Bennett, Randy Spiers, Seth Craddock, and Scott Craddock.
