Graveside Services for Mr. James S. Taylor, 68, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 9:30 A.M. Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ted Freeland officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.Mr. Taylor was born on October 16, 1947 and passed away on July 8, 2016. He served with the West Monroe Police Department retiring with the rank of Captain.Survivors include his mother, Mavaline Wheelis and husband Huey; brothers, Benny Taylor and wife, Annette, and Don Wheelis and wife, Peggy; along with numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
