Funeral service for Mr. James Wylie Daniel, 65, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday July 1, 2008 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Larry Lanier officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mr. Daniel was a graduate of West Monroe High School and retired from BellSouth. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and reader. James served in Germany as a Sergeant in the United States Army. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Carrie Daniel.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Wales Daniel; daughter, Janna Graff and husband Tom; son, Nelson Daniel; grandchildren, Spencer, Wesley, and Landon Graff; and two cousins, Caldwell and Pearl Harris.
Pallbearers are Ted Doughty, Robbie Ballard, Tony Peña, Andy Wales, Richard Guidry, and Jim Gentry.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
