Jamie Leigh Hill Chambless

Memorial services for Mrs. Jamie Leigh Hill Chambless, 37, of Monroe, LA, will be held Friday, April 8, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in the afternoon at House Of Prayer International in Monroe, LA.

Jamie Leigh Hill Chambless was born March 15, 1985 and died April 6, 2022. Jamie was a talented and smart woman. Her smile could brighten a room. She found joy in crafting and painting and poured her heart into the things she made. She used those skills to bring joy to her family; she was always proud when she was able to cook, like her Mama, and when she created a gift for her parents and children. Jamie experienced emotion passionately. When she laughed, she laughed with her whole heart. Despite her talents, it is not certain that she truly knew the depths of her family’s love, until she gained heavenly sight and ran to the arms of Jesus. Today, though, she found a lasting peace and experienced perfect love.

Jamie is survived by her husband, Chris Chambless and children, Gage Chambless, Chloe Chambless and Aubrey Garner; by her mother, Terrie Graham and stepfather John; father, Mark Hill; stepmother, Shelia; sister, Daphne McCarthy (husband Colt); brother, Matthew Hill (wife Candi); brother, Jacob; nieces, Kamryn and Abigail; and nephews, Connor and Nate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to ReJOYCE the Journey, a God-centered life recovery program offering support and group services for individuals dealing with addictions, including teaching them life skills and coping skills. They have weekly group sessions on Tuesdays from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. and Fridays from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Recovery housing is available for women. Donations made by check can be mailed to P.O.
