Funeral services for Jimmie H. Tannehill, 79, of Bastrop, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Boyd Tannehill officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Tannehill passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010. He was an avid boxing fan and loved squirrel and coon hunting.
Survivors include his daughters, Bobbie Sue Harris and husband Mark of Carthage, TX, Debra Smith of Houston, TX, and Betty Jean Fenimore of PA; sons, Ernie Tannehill and wife Denise of Tulsa, OK, Frank Tannehill of Houston, TX, and James Tannehill of PA; grandchildren, Jim and Tara Tannehill and Melissa and Angela: brothers, Boyd Tannehill of Grayson, LA and John Tannehill of Monroe, LA ; sister, Alice Harknett of CA; and special friend, Annice Murry of Marion, LA.
Pallbearers will be Dick Ethridge, Burl Humphries, Brett Tannehill, Lee Roy Howard, Sparky McDuffie, and Bruce McDaniel.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, April 26, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
