Jimmy Ray Corley, 81, of Warden, LA, was born April 26, 1939, and passed from this life Tuesday, August 4, 2020.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Corley; his parents, D.K. and Maudie Corley; one brother, Jr. Corley; and one sister, Evelyn Lingefelt.
He is survived by two sisters Celia Fuller and Barbara Fernish; one brother, Tommy Corley; sister-in-law, Earline (Pee Wee) Harris; two daughters, Sandra (Kelly) Hogg and Debbie Corley; one son, Kevin (Mary) Corley; five grandchildren, Monica (Dusty) Abercrombie, Matt (Lacey) Corley, Megan (Josh) Williams, Morgan (LE) Freeland, and Claire Corley. To his seven great grandchildren he was known as “poppa” and his world would light up when they were all with him; Aiden, Devynn, Laney, Kenzlee, Lacey, Trent, and Emma.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Warden Church, 17 Warden Road, Delhi, LA 71232.
