Funeral Services for Mr. Joseph S. Martin, 78, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, La with Rev. Kenneth Renfroe and Rev. Sean Waggoner officiating. Interment will follow in the Cypress Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Martin was born on June 22, 1931 in Columbia, La and passed away on April 24, 2010. He served in the United States Army and worked as a painter for many years.
Survivors include his children, Floyd Graves and wife, Maria, Penny Solomon and husband Billy, Bill Thomas and wife, Marilyn, Wayne Wink and wife, Tracy, Shela Williams and husband, Hoppy and Neal Graves and wife, Kathy; fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; brothers, W.D. Martin and wife, Judy, and Tracy Martin and wife, Edna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Hoppy Williams, Bill Thomas, Wayne Wink, Kevin Carr, Rodney Baugh, and Jr. Baugh.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Neal Graves.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, April 26, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, La.
