Lavon "Red" Whitlock

Funeral services for Lavon “Red” Whitlock, 90, of West Monroe will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday July 30, 2018 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Ted Freeland officiating. Interment will be in Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens in West Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Whitlock was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an expert pool player.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Linda Guidry Whitlock; children, Denise Breard(Morgan), Dennis Romero (Doris), Sylvia Harris, Dina Pizzuto (Todd), Lynne Mills (Terry); grandchildren, Samantha, Crystal, Melissa, Lindsay, Kirstie, Marilyn, Bryan, Brooke; sister-in-law, Virginia Whitlock; numerous nieces and nephews and good friend Craig Pate

Pallbearers will be Bryan Breard, Matt Martin, Justin Wheeler, Kevin Whitlock, Craig Pate, John Paul Romero, Matthew Monceaux, James Brantley and Otha Moore

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to CASA of Northeast Louisiana.
