Graveside Services for Mrs. Lerah Hammock Morgan, 88, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Hasley Cemetery Memorial Pavilion with Rev. Mark Fenn officiating. Interment will be in the Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Morgan was born on February 1, 1921 and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in West Monroe, LA on March 31, 2009. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA and retired as Personnel Director with Gannett News Star World in Monroe, LA. Mrs. Morgan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and a friend to many.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Brady W. Morgan; son, Jim Morgan and wife Jeanette; grandson, Michael Blake Morgan all of West Monroe, LA; sister, Brownie Ross of New Braunfels, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Morgan, Brad Morgan, Bruce Morgan, Randy Morgan, Pete Ross, Milton Ross, Butch Ross and Bill Duncan.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
