Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Frances Wood, 94, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 26, 2007, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Allison Moody officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
Mrs. Wood passed away Monday, July 23, 2007 at Avalon Place. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Wood was a resident of Monroe for fifty-two years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Wood; and grandson, Brantley Wood Johnson.
Survivors include her daughter, Melany Thorsen and son-in-law, Greg; grandson, Todd Johnson; great grandson, Trever Johnson; great granddaughter, Katelyn Johnson; sister, Houseal Doux, as well as many loyal and faithful friends.
