Linda Gayle McGee

Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Gayle McGee, 65, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, March 4, 2018, at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Black and Stacey Pitman officiating. Interment will follow in the New Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. McGee was born on June 22, 1952, in Columbia, LA, and passed away on February 28, 2018, in West Monroe, LA. She was an LPN for over 20 years before retiring. She loved her family and grandkids. Mrs. McGee loved cooking and was good at it! She enjoyed helping others, volunteering at Ray of Hope, and she was a wonderful caregiver to all around her. Mrs. McGee loved her church family and enjoyed singing in the church choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elton Lee and Anna Ruth Pitman; and sister, Ruth Ann Carter.

Survivors include her husband, Mike McGee; sister, Sharon Roberts; sons, Stacey Pitman and wife, DeWanna, and Shaun Meredith and wife, Karen; daughter, Kim Winn and husband, Scott; stepdaughters, Tracy Simon and husband, Michael, Laurie McGee, Linda Wrightson and husband, David, and Jeanie McGee; grandchildren, Alicia Cubbit, Kayla Pitman, Anna Beth Pitman, Tyler Meredith, Kameron Meredith, Shooter Meredith, Jessica Williams, Bradley Lassiter, Jacob McGee, Jace McGee and Micalee Wrightson; 8 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Pat Sills and husband, Irving.

Pallbearers will be Mel Shackleford, Tom McClain, Chris Barnhill, Drew White, Dustin Craighead, Michael Simon, David Wrightson and Bradley Lassiter.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Dickerson, Leroy Mayo, Scott Winn and Irving Sills.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Sunday at the church.
