Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Lindsey Renee (Smith) Allen, 34, of Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 24, 2020, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, with Rev. Elizabeth Williams and Rev. Johnathan Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe.
Lindsey was born January 29, 1986 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 19, 2020. She worked for Progressive Bank. Lindsey enjoyed photography, history, and astronomy. She was a loving mother, wife, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her father, Kevin Lee Smith.
Survivors include her husband of 12 years, Reggie Allen; sons, Sam Allen and Sawyer Allen; mother, Judy Laing, grandmother “MiMi” Mary Morgan; brother, Dylan Smith and fiancée, Kristen Alford; sister, Jessica Smith; aunt, Margie Longan, uncle, Ken Morgan (Annette); cousin, Ashley Matthews (Jason); father and mother-in-law, Rick and Regina Allen; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Wayne Crowe (Melisa), Richie Allen (Heather), John Allen (Rachel), Jennifer McCallie (Timmy); ten nieces and nephews and one on the way; two great-nephews; as well as numerous cousins, and many special friends.
Pallbearers will be Richie Allen, John Allen, Tim McCallie, Trey Allen, Tim Lewis, and Dalton Allen. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Crowe, John Moss, and Josh Morris.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
