Funeral services for Mr. Sammy Walters, 39, of West Monroe, LA , will be held at 2:00PM Friday, April 2, 2010, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Danny Goodman and Rev. John Dallalio officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Grove Cemetery in Wisner, LA.
Mr. Walters passed away on March 27, 2010, in West Monroe. He worked for Walters Painting Company. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. Mr. Walters was preceded in death by his grandfather, Shuck Ferrington,; paternal grandparents, Robert and Glady Walters; step grandfather, Richard Chambers; and uncle, John Ferrington.
Survivors include his parents, Lloyd and Tiney Walters; sister, Sandy Bryan; children, Michael Walters, Andrew Walters, and Logan Walters; grandmother, Lucille Chambers; niece, Katie Bryan; fiancée, Cheryl Tillman; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be David Miller, Randy Tharp, Charles Ellis, Alvin Bradshaw, Ronnie Carpenter, and Phillip Ferrington.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
