Lois Lott McLemore passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010, at home and in the loving arms of her daughter. She was born on October 9, 1915, in Seminary, MS, to Louis Brown Lott and Lou Ella Graham Lott.

She was the former administrator of Covington County Hospital in Collins, MS, and during her tenure, the hospital doubled in capacity. The family later moved to Farmerville, where she participated in civic activities for the betterment of the town. She often said those years in Farmerville were the happiest of her life.

Mrs. McLemore was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Morris G. McLemore; and her four siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith Barron and husband Dr. James E. Barron of Monroe, LA; her granddaughter, Andrea Barron of New York City; her grandson, Dr. Scott M. Barron and wife Nicole, and their daughters, Emma and Audrey, also of Monroe.

A private family memorial service is planned for a later date.

The family wishes to thank her doctors, Samer Roy and Assad Mouhaffel, and her devoted caretakers, Charlene Pickle and Melba Moore.
