Ray Patron, 74, of West Monroe, LA will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the St. Matthew Catholic Church in Monroe, LA with Rev. Richard Norsworthy officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paschal’s Catholic Church Cemetery in West Monroe.Mr. Patron was born September 22, 1940 and passed away December 10, 2014. He was the owner and operator of Moore & Patron in Monroe and West Monroe. Ray was a member of the St. Matthew Catholic Church in Monroe, the Rotary Club of Monroe, Optimist Club, DEDD, AD Club and New Orleans Saints Fan Advisory Board. Mr. Ray was an avid New Orleans Saints fan. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Catherine Patron and aunt, Mildred Collier.Survivors include his wife, Linda S. Patron; children, Beth Patron Howington and husband Jeff, Steven Patron and wife Dana, Larry Patron and wife Leia, Lorie Carter and husband David, and Stephanie Broom; sister, Nancy Patron Campeaux and husband Barry; eight grandchildren, Tia Patron, Christian Patron, Matthew Howington, Courtney Howington, Brittany Broom, Hannah Carter, Nicholas Carter and Jacob Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Jeff Howington, Robert Canterbury, Dean Mailhes, Scott Winkler, Jack Williams, and Davis Hardy.Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Friday, December 12, 2014 with a vigil wake service at 6:00 P.M., at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
