Services for Mrs. Maggie Lou Freeland Morris, 81, of Rayville, LA will be 2 PM Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Troy J. Dennard officiating, internment will follow in Greer Cemetery Rayville, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA
Maggie was born September 30, 1928 in Rayville and passed away January 26, 2010 at Richardson Medical Center. She was a retired payroll clerk from the Bucaneer Pants Factory. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe L. Morris, her son Ronnie Morris, parents Jack and Ouida Freeland and a sister Teen Freeland.
She is survived by two sons, Larry D. Morris and his wife Coleen of Rayville, LA, and Richard L. Morris and his wife Kathy of Winnsboro, LA; four sisters, Maudie Pierce and Ruth Hardy both of Rayville, LA, Ruby Shaver and her husband Bill of Metairie, LA and Jackie Rosvet and her husband Bert of Ayr, NE; seven grandchildren, Randi Paige Jackson, Ron Morris, Kylie Morris Brown and her husband Brad, Joseph Morris, Larry Joe Morris and his wife Tracy, Olivia Woods and her husband John, Ginna Ezell and her husband Stephen; five great grandchildren, Ashton Jackson, Marigrace and Cole Morris, Dylan Ezell and Valerie Woods, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Larry Joe Morris, Joseph Morris, Cole Morris, Ron Morris and Brad Brown.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
