Funeral service for Mr. Marshall Jay “Moose” Charlton, 89, of Monroe will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, April 28, 2007, at St. Matthew Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Puthuppally officiating. Interment will follow in St. Matthew Catholic Church Mausoleum under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, St. John Street, Monroe, LA.
Mr. Charlton passed away on April 27, 2007, at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home. He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, loved golf, and his Friday night outings with his friends. Mr. Charlton was preceded in death by his wife, Clare O’Donnell Charlton.
Survivors include his children, Christine LeGuin, Judy Huffman and husband Francis, and Maggie Edwards; grandchildren, Brian LeGuin and wife Shaunte, Laura LeGuin, Brent LeGuin, Dennis Huffman and wife Rebekah, Stephanie Haney and husband Alan, Jennifer Namie, Bess Namie; five great grandchildren, sister, Juliette Higgins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brian LeGuin, Brent LeGuin, Dennis Huffman, Alan Haney, J. P. Sharp, and David Powell.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 1:00PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church, Hospice Care of Louisiana, or to your favorite charity.
